Worshippers of Slern have always taken a more… creative… approach in this weapon’s race of gaining beasts. Fearing the ease at which the worshippers of the other gods were finding beasts aligned to their faith, they took it upon themselves to assemble one of their own. From the carcasses of ancient beasts, they bound the disparate parts using their dark arts. The outcome was Vosgorth, who would later be known as the Lord of the Underworld. It didn’t take long before an abomination such as this broke free from the control of its masters. The pulse priests thought they had it all under control. What could go wrong? They would assemble a beast to their liking, with parts of previous beasts that they had studied and vetted to be controllable. Seldom, however, are the sum of parts equal to the whole. It was a lesson that would cost the priests their lives. On the 54th day of the Bogvanox, the beast broke out of his astral chains and committed unspeakable acts against two cities within the vicinity of the Pulse Reach. By the time the dust settled and the sludge seeped, the beast had made his lair in the caverns below, and would from that point forth be known as the Underlord.
