Tezcatlipoca, a true force of the underworld, would have been one of the gods of these lands in his own right had he not been supplanted by Slern himself. In one of the greatest battles of legend, he lost in an epic encounter against Slern; his back being ripped out, and the beast left for dead. Despite the rivalry, Slern saw the ferocity with which he was challenged. On the verge of death, he had the spirits of three Slern generals forged into him, ensuring he would be a formidable opponent, while remaining loyal to Slern.
