Very little is known of the creation of the vast lands of Veren, and of the days before the existence of the current gods. Many believe that it was Gaia herself responsible for the creation of all the world’s flora, however, the green ecosystem of Veren existed long before the emergence of the goddess Gaia.
The ancient world was overseen by six great and omnipotent deities. As is all too common with the gods, their inherent power left them with an unquenchable thirst for admiration and devotion. One such god, who deemed himself the creator of the sun, and of all life, ever desperate to prove his superiority over his celestial counterparts, created an army of pollinating insects to spread life and growth across the land, and with it, the beast Melliferia, a loyal queen to rule over his army.
As with all ancient beasts, Melliferia relentlessly pertained to her purpose, even long after the old gods faded. Fascinated by her devotion and kindness to her followers, Haala adopted the beast as her own.
